It may be hard to tell from the picture but that is downtown Philadelphia taken from the co-pilot's seat of ConnAir! Several weeks ago Jeff and I (and a passenger to be named later) flew to New Jersey to visit Grandpa. It was kind of a cloudy day and we were worried about rain and storms.
So we climbed up to 9500 feet to get above some clouds. Since we seldom fly that high it was quite a rush (we took the picture of the altimeter to prove we were there.)

This is just one of many beautiful cloud shots we took. It was a little bit eerie that we were that high above the clouds in our little plane!

However, these two competent individuals (okay, maybe just one competent pilot and his old man) were up to the task!

And, alas, here's our faithful passenger, Dawn, who is always up for a trip any time, any place!

Jeff did a great job of getting us there and back! No Pennsylvania turnpike to navigate. No Skuhyll expressway and traffic jambs to worry about in Philly. No tolls!!! It was a great trip!
