Last day of the Year

I love the last day of the year (Dec 31). It's fun for me to think back over the past year to see what stands out in my memory bank! Here are a few:

  • I started a new job at NewPointe. Wow! There's way too much to tell on this one. So you'll have to wait on a soon-to-come post dedicated to this.
  • 2 of my 3 kids were in college. Both moved in on the same weekend. My back still hurts!
  • Having a litter of puppies always sounds fun at the beginning but always ends in near disaster! (We have one left!)
  • Stinging Jeff with the center court Cavs tickets!
  • My dad's surprise visit on the 4th of July.
  • Biggest fireworks display of all time at our party. No casualties.
  • Buckeyes choking in the the 2007 BCS championship game to Florida.
  • Indians blowing it in the ALCS. Up 3-1 to Boston and letting it slip away.
  • Buckeyes basketball making to the championship game. Worse than losing was the national exposure for Mike Connely allowing him to leave early for the NBA draft.
  • Cavs getting blown out by the spurs.
  • Coming in at second place for every major sports team I follow!
  • Taking Katie to the middle of the Adirondack mountains for her summer camp experience.
  • Freedom swimming with Braden!
  • Witnessing people's lives change at NewPointe! It doesn't get any better than that!!!

I can't wait to see what happens in 2008.

Go Bucks!

I like your list! It's been a great year. BTW, I'll share with you my husband's Ohio sports fan chant....."There's always next year!"
